# About Projects

> How Projects give your team and AI Marketer (Aim) a shared place to work

Projects gives your team a place for work that spans more than one task, such as a product launch, a category push, or a sentiment fix.

A Project is a container for [AI Marketer (Aim)](/aim/about) chats that share a goal, context, and members. Every chat in a Project uses the same files, Knowledge Bases, and instructions, and the Project collects every Artifact those chats produce. Aim works across your data and context to suggest new Projects and help with existing ones.

## The problem Projects solve

Outside a Project, each chat with Aim starts from scratch. You explain the goal every time, outputs from earlier chats are hard to find, and your team's work on the same initiative is scattered across chats.

A Project keeps the goal, context, chats, and Artifacts for an initiative in one place, where your teammates can work on it with you.

## Key features

### Work in chats

The Project page opens to a chat box. Ask Aim a question or give it a task. Aim saves every new chat to the Project. The **Your chats** and **Shared chats** tabs list each chat with its status (such as **Needs review**), the Artifacts it produced, and when it was last active.

### Instructions and context

The right sidebar of each Project has **Instructions** and **Context** sections. Instructions set goals, tone, and guidance for how Aim responds in the Project. Context is what Aim knows about the Project: files or photos you add, documents from your[ Knowledge Bases](/context-manager/knowledge-bases-and-brand-kits), and brand information already stored in[ Context Manager](/context-manager/about).

### Suggestions

Aim regularly analyzes your data, including Answer Engine Insights, Prompt Volumes, and Agent Analytics, and suggests new Projects and tasks.

Project suggestions appear at the top of the **Projects** page and propose new initiatives for your organization. The Profound home page also shows recent suggestions in the **Suggestions from Aim** panel. Learn more in [Suggestions from Aim](/projects/suggestions-from-aim).

### Artifacts

Each Project chat can produce Artifacts (outputs), such as Documents, Sheets, or images. They appear as chips in the chat and in the **Artifacts** section of the Project page. Everyone with access to the Project can open them.

### Members and sharing

New Projects are private, but you can invite team members or share a Project with your organization at any time. Members see the Project's details, context, and chats, and can start chats and add Artifacts of their own.
